About Space Week

World Space Week is an international celebration of space, science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition. Established in 1999 by the United Nations, Space Week is commemorated globally on 4th – 10th October every year.

Space Week South Africa will be a Space Science fair that will bring together local & international industry experts, organizations and corporations that operate in the space domain.

This Space Science fair will include exhibitions, presentations, and keynote speeches aimed at cultivating the South African youth minds and the general public’s interest in space education and the space industry. Space Week will provide educational and networking opportunities for the participants.

Space Week is tailor-made for teachers, students and space enthusiasts who are passionate about aerospace and are looking for ways to create holistic, hands-on activities in the classroom.
